Meet Gary — just ask the map where you can fish

Toggling layers and reading a map is powerful, but sometimes you just want to ask. Gary is Guidepole's built-in assistant: ask something like “where can I fish from the bank near me?” or “public water within 30 minutes,” and Gary answers and moves the map to show you.

The important part: Gary only recommends real, mapped places — never invented ones. Every suggestion is a numbered pin you can tap to open its card, with the access, launches, and rules for that exact spot.

Fishing regulations are the one thing you can't get wrong, so Gary is careful. It points you to what's on the map and what the official regs say — and always tells you to confirm the current rules with the state authority before you fish.
