Coverage
Where Guidepole works — and where we're headed.
Guidepole is a family of apps, and each one covers a different footprint. Guidepole Fire runs nationwide today; Guidepole Fish and Guidepole Hike build state by state from authoritative public data. Here's where each one is live.
Guidepole Fish & Hike
Water & trail access, built state by state
Fishing and hiking both run on the same land-ownership and public-land records, so Guidepole Hike covers the same states as Guidepole Fish — the map below is their shared footprint. (Hike's safety layers — wildfire, smoke, air quality, weather and avalanche — come from national feeds, so those work wherever there are trails.)

Coverage reflects data we've ingested and verified. Some layers are national and public-domain (water, public land); others we build state by state.
Guidepole Fire
Wildfire, smoke & air quality — nationwide
Fire data isn't built state by state. Active wildfire perimeters, satellite hot spots, smoke plumes and air quality all come from national feeds — NIFC, NOAA and the EPA — so Guidepole Fire works across the entire US and Canada from day one.
